At Lillagunga we have always been fascinated about products with a long history, especially toys crafted in wood. The rocking horse is widely believed to have appeared for the first time in the early 17th century and still remains to be a timeless and popular toy around the world.

The new Lillagunga Reindeer is a minimalistic and elegant rocking horse designed to meet the standards of todays' modern households. This classic toy is long-lasting and manufactured with precision in every detail.

The Lillagunga Reindeer was originally designed as a prototype by the world famous designers Yusuke Hayashi and Yoko Yasunishi from DRILL DESIGN. The prototype was exhibited in Milan in 2013 but the product was never taken into production.

In late 2016 Lillagunga and DRILL DESIGN found each other, partnered and agreed on launching the product commercially. Anton Stenfors the founder of Lillagunga elaborated the design to better match the visual identity of Lillagunga.
