About us
Lillagunga is a Helsinki based design company founded in May 2013 that produces wooden design swings and gymnastic rings for children and fully-grown adults. Through our well crafted products, we want to spread a sense of joy and wonder into people’s everyday lives. Bearing this in mind, we design high quality products that people can customise to meet their preferred style or need, creating something fun, unique and personal.
Our Story
We believe there is no other product or player in the market that represents the same unique design and functionalities as Lillagunga. Lillagunga was established around the belief that there was a need for proper stylish and durable swings - and there is.
The story starts in the summer of 2010 when Anton Stenfors, the founder of Lillagunga, had a hard time trying to find a stylish quality swing for his two sons. Stenfors decided to make one himself and ended up taking the first steps towards designing the first model of Lillagunga Classic. Taking its name from the Swedish word for ‘little swing’, Lillangunga was airborne in May 2013 with an immediate success. Read the whole story here.

In 2013, Lillagunga was established with a vision to become the leading brand and producer of reinvented classic design products. Today, we offer four different product lines for people in all ages: Lillagunga Classic, Grand, Toddler and Rings. Find the product catalogue here. We have a proven international interest, a patented product and we are now aiming for growth and expansion internationally.
Lillagunga with its base in Helsinki, Finland has already shipped its swings and gymnastic rings everywhere from Taiwan to Canada, to all around Europe, Australia and the USA. In addition to our own web shop we have both physical stores and online retailers around the world. Since quality and durability is essential for us all Lillagunga products are manufactured with care in Finland. Customer satisfaction is one of our top priorities and with a return rate of only 0,25% we are proud and feel comfortable every time we ship.
Awards
It did not take long after Lillagunga was founded before the first product won an award. In September 2013 Lillagunga Classic won the Interior Design Reporters competition (Toimittajien Tusina) aimed at promoting carefully made design products that suit people’s everyday lives. All the 12 awarded products were presented at the Helsinki Design Week.
